The singer’s ‘toxic till the end’ premiers in just a few hours and ahead of this anticipated release, the K-pop artist has unveiled a new teaser. In the teaser, the singer gave a glimpse to her chemistry with Evan Mock, signaling that he will be playing the role of her ex-boyfriend. This is the same “ex” that Rosé previously mentioned in quite a few interviews sharing her experience with her past relationship and the toxicity it brought to her life. So, the teaser also brought a lot of excitement for her fans, who are waiting to see how their relationship unfolded. Meanwhile, the audio of the record is out on streaming platforms.
Rosé shared a brand new teaser for her upcoming title track ‘toxic till the end’ music video on December 6th. The clip begins with a pink-haired man trying to hitchhike when the singer spots him from her car. When she stops to figure out who the man is and what is going on, the guy, played by Evan Mock confesses that he is lost, and asking for help from her. This scene quickly dissolves into a big garden in the next scene, where Rosé is seen running playfully from the guy as the title card enters. This is where the background audio plays and it says, “Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the ex,” in Rosé’s voice.
Sharing this teaser on her Instagram, the K-pop idol wrote, “toxic till the end in just a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my album!!!!!! someone pinch me now. it’s all happening. I am so excited to share this song, video, and the whole album with you all. it’s all yours in just a few more hours. I hope you all love it.” The video quickly got the attention of her millions of followers on Instagram and the fans started to share their thoughts and anticipation in the comment section. On X (formerly Twitter), people shared their thoughts on the teaser. On one post sharing the details of her teaser announcement, a fan wrote, “Absolutely thrilled for you, Rosé! 🤩✨The anticipation for ‘toxic till the end’ and your new album has us all on the edge of our seats. In the meantime, the physical version of Rosé’s first studio album ‘Rosie’ is already out. The songs arrived on streaming platforms on December 6, 12 PM KST (8:30 PM IST, December 5). The BLACKPINK star’s first solo studio album has a total of 12 songs with the album title track being ‘toxic till the end’. She previously released two other pre-release tracks, ‘Number One Girl’, and ‘APT’. The B-side album has got records including ‘3 Am’, ‘Two Years’, ‘Dance All Night’, ‘Too Bad For Us‘, ‘Call It The End’, ‘Not The Same’, ‘Stay A Little Longer’, ‘Gameboy’, and ‘Drinks Or Coffee’.
