Perhaps it is time to enjoy a new music project from Doja Cat as the rapper has tweeted one word on X, creating anticipation among fans. Will it be released soon? Let’s find out.
One-word tweets on X are perhaps the new ingredient for anticipation Doja Cat teases her upcoming project by posting only one word, ‘album’. She did not offer any other context on the matter or even any follow-ups for the album project. However, it was enough for fans the wish for its release soon.
With fans being ecstatic, some wrote “WE NEED ARIANA GRANDE ON IT,” and comments like “PLAYBOI CARTI BETTER BE ON IT” were also there. With just one word, the tweet went viral and gained over 100,000 likes. After the arrival of the ‘Scarlet 2 CLAUDE’ deluxe edition in May, Doja Cat has been laying low for a long now. Perhaps it is time for a brand new music project.
Doja Cat’s last album project was ‘Scarlet’ which was released after the hit project in 2021, ‘Planet Her’. Scarlet was released in 2023 and it made a huge impact and reached No. 2 on the Top Rap Albums chart as well as No. 4 on the Billboard 200. With the hope for a new album, fans are going crazy now.

When it comes to the album ‘Scarlet’, Doja Cat said to Jack Harlow “Scarlet is a very, to put it simply, quite an angry project.” She further added, “I think the point of that album was to showcase anger and how it processes through my mind, but also it’s about coming to your own defense and love.” The rapper also said, “It’s sort of my ‘Why I oughta!’ moment of squaring up with everyone and defending myself, telling myself that I’m here for me, and not just for everybody else’s enjoyment.”
Fans are also wishing for a collaboration between Doja Cat and LISA as the former member of BLACKPINK has expressed her wish to work with the “Paint the Town Red” rapper. When it comes to the next goal, LISA said, “But for now that I can think of, Doja Cat. I love her,” and further added, “Doja Cat, for sure, is my next goal.”
While musical creations might have been to a halt, Doja Cat is quite active on the performer side. She headlined New York City’s Global Citizen Festival last month and enthralled the audiences while urging them to speak against the injustices that take place around the globe.
The unwavering rapper said, “Right now, millions of men, women, and children in Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, the Congo, and all across the world, are suffering.” She encouraged the audience and said, “In times like this, it is important to remember that we have the power to bring change, love light, and hope to those who need it most.”
