Fans are eagerly waiting for the latest release by Drake and SZA, one of the most highly anticipated collaborations in the industry right now. The track is going to be released on September 15th, this Friday, and the buzz is high.
The news was published by an X-based (Formerly known as Twitter) popular entertainment platform that works as a new outlet. The platform shared a post on this collaboration Project along with a teaser video. Meanwhile, SZA shared a picture on Instagram that seems more of a single cover with the ‘parental advisory‘ at the bottom. However, the singer didn’t reveal anything about joining forces with Drake.
The image shared by SZA shows a woman covered in green slime, and it is pretty hard to say who it is. It is actually an image of Halle Berry getting slimed at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
More than the visual approach, the fans are quite excited about this musical collaboration where they can enjoy Drake’s smooth rapping flow along with SZA’s deeply melodic voice, a combination that the ears seek.
‘Certified Loverboy’ Drake is making some brisk moves with this track as it is going to be appearing upcoming album, ‘For All The Dogs’ which is going to be released soon this month.
The excitement regarding the upcoming single has got even higher with SZA revealing that she used to date Drake. It was revealed when Drake said in his guest verses in 21 Savage‘s “Mr. Right Now.” In an interview with the Big Tigger, SZA said “We’re cool. And we’ve always been cool,” and “It’s never been weird.” But that was December of 2022.
Drake also gave a heads-up to SZA about this project and she thinks very highly of him regardless of their past relationship. The R&B songstress said, “It didn’t come completely out of the blue and he let me know,” she added. “I didn’t know it was a song with 21 [Savage] or anything like that. But anytime he’s ever mentioned me, it’s always been positive. He’s never said anything negative about me. I’m grateful for that. I think highly of him…He’s King Drake.”
Drake’s upcoming album ‘For All The Dogs’ is scheduled to be released on September 22 and the upcoming track, which is the lead single, is going to tease the project for the fans. The other bangers in the album are going to have features from Nicky Minaj and Bad Bunny.
