All ready to get back on the stage after enjoying a longtime period of hibernation? Talking about Ed Sheeran, the pop superstar who had been on hiatus for nearly two years is all set to drop his new LP sometime this month.
It has been a very long time since; the pop singer has released any record. His last released project was a full studio album titled Collaborations No. 6 Project and that has already been four years since his last traditional record named Divide.
But now things are about to change! Ed Sheeran is all set to bless 2021 with a new album which is named as ‘=’. This is supposedly his first solo music release over four years. The singer has been teasing his fans who have been greatly anticipating his release for years now with a little help from his friend Courtney Cox and other celebrity friends. However, the popular singer has released all the details now.
Ed Sheeran has recently announced the drop of his upcoming fifth studio album titled ‘=’ set to hit the scene on 29th October and fans can’t keep calm. Sheeran had given out a trailer for the album with an image of cocoon butterflies featuring on the album cover. And, while speaking on his Instagram Live, the artist said that the imagery represents new life. Over the last four years, the pop artist has faced various experiences in life that includes losing a friend, having a kid, and getting married.
Talking about the upcoming new album ‘=’, Sheeran has already dropped the first single off the new album titled ‘Bad Habit’s which comes attached with a music video. The tracklist for the new album ‘Equals’ goes as:

During an interview, Sheeran said that the new album ‘=’ is personal to him and said that his life has changed in the past couple of years after marriage and the birth of the cpiple’s daughter. Hence, he sees it as his coming-of-age record, and that he truly can’t wait to share this next chapter with his fans and followers.
The upcoming album ‘Equals’ has been recorded and written across Sweden, London, and Los Angeles. Also, next month Ed Sheeran is set to perform in a concert to start the NFL Season opener between the reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Dallas Cowboys in Florida.
