J-Hope is back and he is claiming the music throne! The K-pop superstar has announced the arrival of new music at his appearance at the Louis Vuitton show.
BTS’ J-Hope made a stunning return to the entertainment industry on January 21. He marked his return to the music scene with the debut of his new track following the military conscription last year. The newest song by J-Hope is called ‘LV Bag’ and it is a collaboration with rapper Don Toliver. The track was revealed during the Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2025 runway show in Paris. Paris is also where the song became the grand finale of the event that evening. Pharrell Williams served as the men’s creative director for the iconic fashion brand who also led the first big event of the night. The tracks that were played at the event were selections by The Weeknd, Seventeen, and Playboi Carti. The tracks were all produced by Pharrell himself, fostering the connection between fashion and music at the event.
As the runaway show came to an end, the singer-songwriter and music producer greeted J-Hope with his longtime collaborator Nigo. The K-pop artist was seated among a long list of celebrities and stars, including big names in the industry like Bradley Cooper and Travis Scott. The BTS member donned a casual yet stylish outfit that featured a button-down shirt, jeans, and a brown bucket hat. The global brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton completed the look with a Speedy bag with dangling pearls around. J-Hope’s outfit from the event showed the perfect blend of streetwear and high fashion.

His new song, ‘LV Bag’ marks the K-pop artist’s return to the music industry and poses a pivotal moment in his musical journey. This is his first single release after his discharge from the military last October. Produced by Pharrell, this single will be the first music since his six-track EP Hope On the Street Vol. 1 in March 2024. The previous EP featured several high-profile collaborators such as Benny Blanco, Nile Rodgers, Le Sserafim’s Huh Yunjin, and someone who has been there throughout his music career, BTS’ Jungkook.
To give fans an early surprise, the artist teased new music in a video titled Beginning of a New Dream. It was released on YouTube in December 2024. The video also hinted that the BTS member had various interesting projects lined up for this year, 2025. This featured a cryptic message – “2025. 03.” This suggested that fans can expect even more material in 2025’s March. This will also mark his first full solo release since his release from the South Korean military. The newest single represents a fusion of J-Hope’s signature swag style with Toliver’s distinct sound. This collaboration under Pharrell’s direction does not only excite BTS’ fans, but the entire music industry.
