Joe Jonas is celebrating his life and music and the singer is gearing up to release a brand new solo album in 13 whole years! He has now officially begun the journey with the release of ‘Work It Out’ on Friday, 19th July. Joe announced this single earlier this month by posting on Instagram. He posted, “I’m both excited and emotional as I’m gearing up to release new music,” he wrote in the post, with a scenic mountain and lake landscape in the background. “I’m humbled and grateful to collaborate with some of my favorite musicians and creators. I hope you find as much happiness and peace as I do when you listen to these songs.”
His sophomore solo album is named ‘Music for People Who Believe in Love’ and will be released on October 18th, via Republic Records. The singer who started his journey as one-third of the Jonas Brothers and fJoe Jonas Announces Upcoming Solo Album ound huge success with his EDM band DNCE, officially released the first single of his upcoming music album on Friday. He has been teasing the song over the last month by performing it live on the Jonas Brothers’ Calgary Stampede show this weekend and sharing snippets during his appearances on podcasts.

Jonas shares that this upcoming album is inspired by his experience of fatherhood, happiness, and friendships. “This album is a reflection and celebration of life,” he said. “I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me creating it. Please enjoy!” The ‘Sucker’ singer released his debut solo album ‘Fastlife’ back in 2011 October. Besides Jonas Brothers, a band with his two other brothers – Kevin and Nick Jonas, the 34-year-old musician formed DNCE in 2015. With this electronic music band, the artist released one eponymous album and two EPs. The album was released in 2016 and had the worldwide hit ‘Cake by the Ocean’ which got its spot at the No. 9 on the Hot 100. The album with DNCE also debuted at No. 17 on the Hot 100.
The artist’s statement regarding the release of his upcoming sophomore album: “I am thrilled to share my new solo album with you – Music For People Who Believe In Love. This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me. When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment. It’s okay to cry and mourn a loss – it’s part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about.
This album speaks to the experiences of being a father, being a friend to oneself and others, and the happiness I’ve found in doing what I love for a living. I feel incredibly fortunate to travel the world and connect with people through my music, as well as having had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters, and producers on this project.
A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera during filming that asked, “What do you want them to feel?”. This question still resonates with me every time I step on stage or create new music. The ability to perform, connect deeply with an audience, and evoke positive emotions, or even healing, is a gift I cherish.
