Last month, Kehlani returned with a new single ‘After Hours’. Now she has announced a full-length album released this summer. This is going to be another Atlantic release; ‘Crash’ is going to drop on the 21st of June. The neo-futuristic album cover looks magnetic and people are already invested in the surprises she has planned for this upcoming month.
This is going to be her fourth major album release after she offered releases like ‘Blue Water Road’ in 2022, ‘It Was Good Until It Wasn’t’ in 2020, and ‘Sweet Sexy Savage’ in 2017. This is going to be her first release in the last two years and now her fans are extremely excited to unveil what she has planned for them.

Alongside the album cover art, she shared the date and the name of the album. On this album cover, she is seen on top of a red car and she is wearing an armor of metal scrapes. Israel Riqueros the photographer shared on Instagram, “I was so in love with this image when I photographed it personally one of my favorite covers I’ve done to date.” He also wrote, “Believe me when I say this album is worth the wait, and also all the banger images we have coming for it.”
From last month, Kehlani started to tease about her forthcoming album with various media outlets. Renowned media houses nudged about this release mentioning the main road will be leading her to Coachella. In that photo, she was kneeling close to the ground with a city skyline behind her back. The caption reads, “Album coming soon”. Earlier this week she shared a video that featured several comments from her fans mentioning her release and responding to the teaser of the music festival.
One fan wrote, “Oh I would’ve crashed into this billboard so fast.” Another mentioned, “I’d crash. And they said I was crazy for calling an album and a tour being OTW.” When she released has latest album ‘Blue Water Road’ in 2022, she mentioned, “Blue Water Road is a destination in my mind. I’m giving everyone access. It’s an emotional journey, a sexual journey, and a spiritual journey.” She added more, “To me, the album is like a glass house. It’s light, transparent, and the sun is shining right through it,” which might be crashing with her forthcoming release.
