Metal music can be found in various shapes and forms and one of the most striking subsets is Symphonic Metal, a unique genre that is celebrated on November 13 every year.
Great news for the LDR fans as Lana Del Rey has just announced a brand new upcoming album called ‘The Right Person Will Stay’. The singer-songwriter shared on Instagram that she had worked with Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson, Zachary Dawes, and Luke Laird for this project and it is all set to release soon.
The announcement on Instagram reads, “‘The right person will stay’, Out May 21, so grateful that my 13 tracks came together with my beautiful work between Luke, Jack, and Drew Erickson amongst others. Hence is it evident that the album will be released the next year in the Summer and there will be no ‘Summertime Sadness’ this time; only 13 new songs that can captivate everyone. Previously, Lana Del Rey previewed the song “Henry, Come On,” and created much anticipation by teasing her country album project called ‘Lasso’.
Back in August, she said, “All my albums are somewhat rooted in Americana, unless it’s an album like Honeymoon which has a jazz flair, so I don’t think it will be a heavy departure.”
While it was declared the album would be released in September this year, the artist later explained, “I don’t want to turn it into something that’s half cooked, even if it’s super stripped-back. I want it to be what it was supposed to be.” She also said that she will preview the songs for the new album at the Stagecoach Festival in April which will take place in Indio, California.
Lana Del Rey’s last released studio album was ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ which was released back in March 2023. The album was definitely another milestone in LDR’s prolific music career ranked at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
The singer will be soon embarking on a stadium tour in June 2025. The tour will take place in different places in the UK and Ireland. The tour is all set to start on June 23rd and the first venue would be Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in Wales followed by stops at Liverpool, Glasgow, Dublin, and many other places. The tour will conclude on July 3rd at the Wembley Stadium in London.
