BLACKPINK’s LISA and Rosalia are all set to surprise their fans with a new song. A teaser and hints related to this project are flooding social media platforms.
Lisa is far from finished with her previous independent release, ‘Rockstar’ in June. On August 2nd, Friday, the pop star proved that she has a lot more in store for this new and exciting solo era. The BLACKPINK star shared a snippet of a new track on social media. The video was posted on TikTok and sent the entire internet into a frenzy. In the clip, the pink-haired LISA did not show her face but showed off a star-shaped pendant around her neck. “Bangin’ it, bangin’ it, wanna crack these walls/ Bangin’ it, bangin’ it, wanna echo through the halls,” the musician sang over the Y2K-inspired beat, mid-tempo. “Pullin’ up, fresh face, brand new día,” she further sings.
The new single is supposedly called ‘Brand New Día’ which hints at a collaboration with Spanish singer Rosalia. A new wave of excitement was brought to social media platforms when a brand new poster of ‘Brand New Dia’ emerged on X, formerly twitter. The poster features the fascinating line “pulling up fresh face brand new día”, which allegedly is the catchy hook of this new single. The poster’s bottom section includes cryptic names LA__A, hinting at LALISA, and _OS_LÍ_, which seems to be a confirmation of Rosalia’s involvement in the project and the song being a collaboration.

The visual teaser of the track aligns with the additional clues that fans have been receiving from both artists. On August 5th, Lisa confirmed that she is collaborating with a new teaser, which further fueled the speculations. Additionally, Rosalia also previewed what appeared to be her part of the collaboration on an Instagram live session. She also playfully included what seemed like Lisa’s verse on the song. This impromptu reveal session fueled the rumors even more. The possible collaboration between the two artists has excited the fans. Rosalia and Lisa have also previously shown and expressed their admiration and love towards each other’s work. They have also been spotted together on several occasions and events.
Now, on August 6th, BLACKPINK‘s official handle confirmed the news of the two collaborating, and people on social media platforms cannot keep their calm. One person under the official post wrote, “Can’t wait 💫🌹🔥💃🏻 BRAND NEW DÍA #LISAxBrandNewDía”, while another one wrote, “Lisa y Rosalíavienen a romper la industria😜”. Another post regarding the collaboration read comments like “two icons about to be iconic,” “LISA and Rosalía collaborating on a track together is sure to be amazing.”, “we will be streaming”, “this gonna be a big hit i just knew it”, “Omg pop queens”, and “Wow, that’s exciting!
