‘5 Dollar Pony Rides’ sets the perfect example for the upcoming project with an amazing jazzy soundscape which sounds amazing with Mac’s slumberous voice. The song previously surfaced on the internet 5 years ago but the low-quality leaks did not go well. The product team did a good job in making it into a full-fledged track that comes with studio quality and is currently creating a huge buzz among fans. It is evident that ‘Balloonerism’ is going to be one of the finest projects by Miller whom the industry lost too early.
Miller co-produced “5 Dollar Pony Rides” with Thundercat, who is best known for his bass magic but this time he took the moniker of Larry Fisherman. His older brother Ronald Bruner Jr. and their younger brother Kintaro also helped to develop this project.
Mac Miller had a lot to give to the industry, especially for his fans, the people who looked up to him. The rapper could convey their true feelings through his songs, yes! songs and not bangers since those hip-hop tracks can speak for everyone.
‘Balloonerism’ is going to be the second posthumous album by Mac Miller which was released five years after the last album ‘Circles’ released two years after his death. Miller was only 26 years old when he passed away with a drug overdose.
‘Balloonerism’ will consists of a sum of 11 tracks which were possibly recorded at the time of 2014 when the rapper produced “Ur” and “Warm Winds.” The launch of the album was announced at last year’s Camp Flog Gnaw. It took time but it is absolutely worth it!
