Miley Cyrus’s new era is here, as the global pop star has announced yet another single! The Hannah Montana star has previously announced that she will be releasing her highly anticipated new album, Something Beautiful, on May 30, 2025. The album will be released via Columbia Records and Miley Cyrus and Shawn Everett will be the executive producers on the 13-track album. The star has already revealed the sticking cover art for the album, and earlier this week, she shared the first taste of a bold track ‘Prelude’. She then dropped the title track shortly, pouring more curiosity into the fans’ minds.
Now, Cyrus has confirmed that she will release ‘End Of The World,’ the next single, on April 3rd. The ‘Flowers’ singer introduced the first two singles and visuals, ‘Prelude’ and ‘Something Beautiful,’ to her audience, unveiling the start of her new era and upcoming album. These songs mark the beautiful journey of an exceptionally creative and carefully crafted upcoming album, where each release will follow the sequence of the album and her film. This progression will continue on April 3rd, as Cyrus releases her next single ‘End Of The World’.
Miley Cyrus will release a visual film along with her album, releasing in June. The film will be produced by Miley herself, XYZ Films, and PanosCosmatos in collaboration with Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records, and Live Nation. Miley Cyrus will also be taking over the role of the director for this visual film. She is directing this film alongside Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter.

“On April 3, Miley continues the progression of releases with her first single “End of the World” from the new album Something Beautiful. Reinforcing the project’s immersive, operatic approach, these songs mark the beginning of a carefully structured journey. Each release following the sequence of the album and the film. “End of the World” will be released on April 3 at 8pm ET / 5pm PT,” the message read alongside the preview of the song’s official music video, posted on Instagram. “Let’s pretend it’s not the end of the world,” the artist sings in the song while she lies down in front of a drum kit.
‘Prelude,’ the first single from this era, finds Cyrus setting up the theme for the upcoming album. The video captured bold shots of an intensifying landscape where shadows danced over flowers. The pop star lets out her existential thoughts with spoken words. “Like when following an image from a train, your eyes can’t keep the passing landscapes from being swallowed into endless distance,” she says. “Like when holding a fistful of ashes, your hands can’t save the things that have already been dissolved into air.” The video also captures Cyrus wearing the crystal Thierry Mugler headpiece that she also wears on the cover of ‘Something Beautiful. ’ “The beauty one finds alone is a prayer that longs to be shared,” the singer tells the viewers as the video proceeds.
