If their last collab did not hit hard enough, Morgan Wallen and Post Malone are giving it another shot with a new duet called ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’, dropping this Friday. Morgan Wallen and Post Malone just announced on Instagram that they have got a new song coming out this Friday called ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’. It is their second time teaming up, following the huge success of their first collab, ‘I Had Some Help’. Their previous collaboration dropped last May, and the track was released ahead of Post Malone’s country-inspired album F-1 Trillion. It went out to become a major hit in both the country and pop worlds.
‘I Had Some Help’ did not just make waves; it smashed records. When it came out, it broke Spotify’s single-day streaming record for a country song and went straight to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also topped Billboard’s 20 Songs of the Summer chart, showcasing just how big of a moment it was for both artists. The track’s mix of Malone’s smooth vocals and Wallen’s country charm clearly struck a chord with fans. Now, with ‘I Ain’t Comin’ Back’ on the way, fans are excited to see if lightning will strike twice. Judging by the hype already building online, this next release might be just as massive.
Morgan Wallen’s new song with Post Malone is dropping just as he gets ready to release his next album. His upcoming album is titled I’m the Problem, coming out on May 16. The album will include songs fans have already heard, like ‘Lies Lies Lies’, ‘Just in Case’, and ‘Love Somebody’, along with a bunch of new tracks. Wallen also teased that one of the songs will be a duet with a female artist, but he is keeping her identity a secret for now.
On the other side, Post Malone has been staying busy, too. While getting ready for his Coachella performance, he told Billboard that he was working on a new project of his own. He has already made two trips to Nashville to work on it and says he has recorded around 35 songs so far. Malone also joked that now it is just about picking the best ones, saying it is all about figuring out “which ones rock, and which ones sock.”
He also mentioned that during his trips to Nashville, he has been spending time with writers and artists like ERNEST, HARDY, and a few others. He said, “We just have fun. We just sit and f—ing talk and make songs. And so I’m pretty excited for the new record already.”
