‘Binding Lights’ creator, The Weeknd is ready to bring a brand new music project. The singer has teased the project by posting snippets of the music video on social media.

The Weeknd is back with a bang as the artist is found teasing his fans with snippets of upcoming music. The Canadian pop star shared the snippet on social media of a new song and fans went crazy over the two-minute video.

The singer captioned the post with the caption, “When you gaze long enough into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you…” which is a famous quote by German Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. Quite intriguing even at first glance, this occurrence is creating a huge buzz and anticipation among the fans.

The upcoming music project is supposed to be the third chapter of The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours’ and ‘Dawn FM’ trilogy which is still ongoing. The post on social media came right after the announcement of the  “one-night-only” show which is going to take place in Brazil. It claims to make audiences witness a “never-before-seen production” in the set list.

The ‘Binding Lights’ singer has previously announced that the set list will include a total of “three chapters” which is perhaps a hint to the launch of new music through his performance in  São Paulo. The Weeknd has been hinting about his return since January and he also said that he was working in a sixth record which is going to be the concluding chapter of the ‘After Hours’/’Dawn FM’ trilogy.

The teaser video was shared on Tesfaye’s social media account. In the video, the singer could be seen gazing at the camera with glassy eyes along some wood, creating a mysterious ambiance. ‘Binding Lights’ is one of the most successful songs by The Weeknd which made history by securing more than 4 billion streams on Spotify. Now, fans are waiting for the upcoming music eagerly. The song appeared in most charts namely Top Five of the chart, Top 10, Top 40, and broke all the records. It also became the US Billboard Hot 100 single of all time that replaced  Chubby Checker’s ‘The Twist’, a 1960’s hit.

The Weeknd’s last music album was released in 2019 which is named ‘After Hours’, one of the successful milestones in his career. After a long halt, he is back with new music and currently revolving at the epitome of everyone’s attention. Now all that remains is to witness what this upcoming music project has to provide for the fans.
