Prolific Music Entrepreneur Jamal Edwards Died at The Age of 31

Jamal Edwards, the founder of SBTV died at 31. The aspiring music entrepreneur and YouTube star have helped a lot of U.K artists to build their careers.

It is coming to know that Jamal Edwards has died at the age of 31, confirmed by his manager.

The young British entrepreneur was a YouTube star too. Alongside he was an ambassador for the Price’s Trust, the charity run by Prince of Wales.

The artist was the founder of the SBTV. Through this music platform, he has launched numerous artists who are currently big-scale artists and helped to build their careers. He launched artists like Ed Sheeran, Dave, and Jessie J.

His manager gave the heartbreaking news to everyone that, the artist passed away on Sunday morning.

Tributes flooded on social media. His uncertain death has shaken the entertainment industry.

Jamal was the backbone of British rap music. He was awarded MBE in 2014 for his service to music.

‘RIP Jamal Edwards, west London legend status’, tweeted AJ Tracey and showed tribute to him.

Loose Women’s Denise Welch said, ‘My heart aches for my friend Brenda. I can’t bear it. Jamal Edwards was a wonderful son and brother.’

People are showing their grief by doing innumerable tweets.

Adam Deacon, the BAFTA-winning actor said, ‘Jamal was one of the nicest, most down to earth and humble men I’ve met in this industry. He always gave me time even when no one else would’.

Jamal started out his music platform SBTV when he was a teenager, and used to post clips of his friends performing. From there he builds the platform and launched exceptional singer-performers.

 He got exposure in the year 2011, for his work his name was searched on google on million times and people started recognizing him.

This passionate artist always wanted to be in the music industry and certainly, he became one of the major parts of British rap music.

The artist never took credit for helping out various artists. He always supported new talents and helped to showcase their work in front of everyone.

Jamal said in an interview that, ‘

I try to focus on people that haven’t got the platform. As well as getting a really well-known artist I want to get the up-and-coming ones as well’.

Jamal’s death is a big loss in the U.K. music industry.
