‘Radical Optimism’: A Song From This Album Gave Dualipa The ‘Eureka Moment’

Dua Lipa is about to release her third studio album ‘Radical Optimism’. The album is going to be released on the 3^rd of May. In an interview, she revealed that a particular song gave her ‘eureka moment’. The artist has said that it is a particular moment that ‘takes you into the next phase of the album’. After listening to this, all of her fans become even more excited to listen to the album. Now everyone is eagerly waiting for the album to be released.

Dua Lipa has stated that it is the song ‘Illusion’ that has given her the ‘eureka moment’. Regarding this song, she has stated ‘That was a song where I felt like lyrically, I got this radical optimism, I felt very strong at the moment when I was writing that song, because it was really seeing past someone’s bullshit, I guess, for lack of a better word. And understanding it for what it is and just entertaining it for the hell of it, even though you see what’s happening’.

In the making of this track, Lipa has worked with Danny L Harle and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. She has said ‘When Kevin and Danny came together and it was the live drums and the synths and the big music breakdown, in my head the big dance moment, when all those came together it was just a feeling’. At the very beginning of making the album, she came up with two tracks. At first, she made ‘Illusion’ and after that, she made ‘Happy for You’.

She has even said ‘That was just a moment for me to be really vulnerable and open and honest in what was happening in my life at that point. But I feel overall, in this whole record, I just grew as I was writing. I feel like I matured throughout’. From her interview, it is coming to know that with this album she has tried to make something new. And that is why, this album has become even more exciting for the audiences.

This pop artist shared the news of the album’s release one month ago. While announcing the news, she uttered ‘an album that taps into the pure joy and happiness of having clarity in situations that once seemed impossible to face’. Along with that, she even said ‘The hard goodbyes and vulnerable beginnings that previously threatened to crush your soul, become milestones as you choose optimism and start to move with grace through the chaos’.

Dua Lipa has infused the psychedelic pop in this album. While asked about the inspiration for this album, she said Massive Attack, Moby, Oasis, Primal Scream, Blur, and Gorillaz are her inspirations. Thus from this, it can be understood that from this album one will get to listen to some genre-bending pieces of music. Apart from this album, there is much exciting news about Lipa. Recently, she has been declared as one of the headliners of Glastonbury. Thus, she will perform along with artists like SZA, Coldplay, and Shania Twain. Hence, it is creating a buzz among everyone.
