Music sensation Raveena has already created a buzz with her 2024 release ‘Pluto’ which came out earlier this month. But what is more exciting is that she shared a new music video for a brand new track “Lucky,” which is a part of her upcoming music project.
These releases mark the first after her 2022 project ‘Asha’s Awakening.’ Clearly, the singer-songwriter has been working on this music project for a long time. She announced her upcoming album titled “ Where the Butterflies Go in the Rain” which is all set to release on June 14 under the label of Empire.
The new music video offers a very captivating artistic charm that looks perfect along with Raveena’s enticing vocal skills. Isha Dipika Walia has directed the music video for ‘Lucky’ and the singer could be seen spending time with the big worm, which is going to change into a butterfly. Aesthetically enriched with poetic charm and soft tones, the music video has already become the favorite of many even though it has just been released today. This designer has also worked on her previous projects namely ‘Asha’s Awakening’ and the ‘Moonstone EP’ in 2020.
The reference to the butterfly is important here as it is the main subject matter of her upcoming music project. This reference can be found in the previous work of ‘Pluto’ as well. While talking about her upcoming album in the press, Raveena said, “Butterflies are so delicate that they have to hide in leaves and flowers until the rain passes so that their wings don’t get crushed in the rain.” She further added, “I felt like that was kind of a metaphor for where I was in my life. I needed to go back to comfort—to deep rest—and stop weathering storms.”
It seems like the upcoming album is going to be another artistic masterpiece just like her previous works. Raveena Aurora is an American singer-songwriter with Indian roots who gained much popularity after her debut release ‘Shanti’, the EP which was released in 2017. Her first studio album was ‘Lucid’ which helped her pave her way in the music industry.
