Kelly Clarkson jokes about her divorce and said she is a ‘Red Flag Collector’ but open to finding love.
Recently in an interview about her new album ‘When Christmas Comes Around’ she said that she has no regrets regarding her divorce from Brandon Blackstock. And in this holiday season, she is focusing on the positive side.
The Voice coach even said that there is nothing to be upset about, bad things happen in life and those bad things shape and make a person the better version of themselves. And life put those people in the tough situation who can handle them.
She said that maybe she missed the red flags or ignored them on purpose but it’s never too late to come out of the situation.
Clarkson jokingly said that she almost named her album ‘Red Flag Collector’ instead of ‘When Christmas Comes Around’.
The former American Idol said that she didn’t want to miss the Christmas season because she loves Christmas and loves making Christmas records. And she doesn’t know any other to be happy. That’s why she released a new single named: ‘Christmas Isn’t Cancelled (Just You).
Despite her divorce, Clarkson says that she is still open to finding love in the future and plans to explore that path through her music.
She said that the process of divorce was kind of therapeutic for her and going through that hard time made her happy and that reflects in her writing.
Clarkson’s work it is reflecting all changes. All the changes she has gathered in her past.
Clarkson realized that it is possible to make an album on breaking up and finding love at the same with uplifting and fun music. And she is supposed to be happy about feeling this way. Releasing a breakup album in the time of Christmas will be really absurd and no one has ever done that and that would be kind of messed up.
Keeping all these things in mind Kelly Clarkson is releasing her Christmas album ‘When Christmas Comes Around’ with spreading positive vibes and starting a new chapter of her life.
