Rihanna Is Taking Us Back To School With The New FENTY X PUMA Creeper Phatty Campaign

Rihanna is ready to take the world back to school with her latest FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty campaign. The singer and entrepreneur, has just launched her newest collaboration with Puma to bring the latest collection of Creeper “In Session” sneakers. The Fenty x Puma sneaker collection is back after a long hiatus, and Rihanna helps everyone get in the mood to get back to school! The “Phatty in Session” campaign was released on July 11 which featured Chloe Cherry, Anjelica Huston, and even Riri herself. This new version of the Creeper sneaker is much bolder and bigger. The collection features a Corduroy upper, a chunky sole, and of course, a leather Puma Formstrip on the side that makes these the most conclusive statement piece for any outfit.

Just before the school bells ring next month, the collaboration between Fenty and Puma has returned, following the earthy makeovers of April. Titled “In Session,” this drop contains the pop star-turned-businesswoman’s “signature oversized construction and stacked gum sole dressed in new “Triple Black” and “Red/White” corduroy finishes” Rihanna as the collaboration’s long-time serving creative director, puts on a preppy uniform donning a true Riri style. The campaign is shot by Philippa Price and Riri posed as “the good gal” in the sartorial delivery.

Just like any other campaign of Fenty, this Puma collaboration also featured a diverse star-studded cast representing different stereotypes of high schools. The shots contained some of the unexpected yet exciting classmates including Euphoria star Chloe Cherry, and the film icon Anjelica Huston. The variety of stereotypical cast represented the “theater kid”, “popular girl”, “nerd” and “class pet”, adding a bunch of nostalgia to this campaign. Chloe Cherry represented the typical “emo girl” while Huston played the “principal”.
