While the world can’t get enough of her quirky ‘Espresso’, Carpenter is high on the Olympics it seems. In a recent promo published for the upcoming Olympics excitements, she is seen talking to an animated bluebird.
In that promo, she is sitting at an open-air table at a Paris café holding a La Gazette Parisienne in her hand. Suddenly a blue bird flew towards her and while the bird chirped she started to talk “Why yes, I am Sabrina Carpenter,” as the bird landed on her. As she continues to talk to that animated bird, several cups of espressos start to accumulate on her table.
The bird chirped and she said, “Aw thank you, so nice to meet a fan”. After a brief chirp from the bird, she says, “Settle down, we just met.” Then she continues to elaborate on “What am I doing in Paris?” and the bird keeps chirping. Then she mentioned, “Isn’t it obvious? The Olympics.”
After getting an enthusiastic chirp she starts to mention, “The amazing opening ceremony on the Seine, Simone [Biles’] epic comeback, the USA-Australia rivalry in the pool, and the world’s fastest man and woman — Noah [Lyles] and Sha’Carri [Richardson] — racing for Team USA. I’ve never been more excited for anything in my life.”
After she is done mentioning all the upcoming excitement of the Paris Olympics, the imaginary bird gives an enthusiastic chirp Sabrina Carpenter asks the bird, “You need to behave yourself!” And then she herself started to laugh uncontrollably and said, “You’re crazy!” and people around her began to ogle as she continued to laugh. The camera shifts to two waiters talking and one of them says, “I think she’s had enough espresso” in French.
The promo is extremely cute and highly enjoyable; she looks stunning in her sun-kissed hair and black dress. This surely is a clever promo to use Espresso and also to remind people of what lies beyond 24th July. Her sheer enigmatic presence has worked on the excitements which will conclude on 11th August. Shortly after that, she is going to drop her 6th Studio album ‘Short N’ Sweet’.
In one of her recent interviews, she mentioned, “I hope they find whatever they need to guide them through their life through my mistakes.” She added more, “Because I think the more open I am with my experiences, the more that other people are like, ‘Oh, maybe that’s OK that that happened to me. It’s not the end of the world.’”
