Singer and actress Selena Gomez and record producer Benny Blanco are engaged. On 11th December, Selena shared a bunch of photos on Instagram showing her engagement ring and said ‘forever begins now..’. Her post broke the internet and all of her fans were excited. Benny Blanco made a comment on the post that says ‘Hey wait… that’s my wife’. Right after the post, several artists congratulated them quickly. Julia Michaels, Lil Nas X, Cardi B, and many other artists flooded the post with sweet congratulatory messages.
Previously, in 2019, these two collaborated for Selena’s soundtrack ‘I Can’t Get Enough’. In this song, Selena also collaborated with other music artists like J Balvin and Tainy. Right after that, they also worked together in 2023 for the track ‘Single Soon’. According to reports, it was discovered that Blanco and Gomez had been together since December 2023. After one year of dating, they got engaged. It can be said that their professional relationship became stronger and deeper over the years.
A few months ago, Benny Blanco appeared on ‘The Howard Stern Show’ where he stated ‘When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this’. It is not only Blanco who admitted their relationship. Selena also once said ‘I was alone for five years and I got really used to it. A lot of people are afraid of being alone and I probably tortured myself in my head for like two years being alone, and then I kind of accepted it’.

The artist also added by saying ‘Then I came up with my plan, which was I was going to adopt at 35 if I had not met anyone. It just happens when you least expect it’. This is evident that both of them immensely love each other but no one expected that the engagement would be so quick. Both of them are extremely talented and showcase their charm by offering excellent soundscapes. Blanco has a total of 15 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He has worked as a producer and co-writer with artists like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna. On the other hand, Selena’s three albums were at No. 1 on Billboard 200 chart.
