Shakira Updates Venues And Dates For North America Tour

The prolific singer and performer, Shakira was set to go on her 2025 North America tour from May till the end of June. On October 18^th which is only two weeks before the commencement of her North American tour, the ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer went on her social media account to announce that the run of shows was postponed due to overwhelming demand. In April, Shakira first announced about the tour taking place as she surprise guest appearance at Coachella. She appeared as a surprise guest during Bizarrap’s set on the Sahara Stage on Friday (April 12), where they performed their collab tracks ‘La Fuerte’ and ‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol 53’.

At one point she said, ‘Thank you for inviting me, Bizarrap, to be honest, it is amazing to be here with this crowd and with you, who’s my friend and colleague. Today, I cannot contain myself, I have to tell you something. Biza, I am going on tour. I am finally going on tour! Starting here this November, this year in this city. I can’t wait. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you.’ But things took a turn and she had to postpone her tour and update her venues for the tours from arenas to stadiums due to huge demand. Due to the overwhelming demands, they decided to move the tour to larger stadiums which meant the tour would have to be delayed. It was supposed to take place in November of 2024 and continue till December got moved to May and is scheduled to continue till June of 2025.

On October 21^st Shakira wrote on her social media, ‘I’m so excited to share my best show yet with you. Thank you all for supporting and inspiring me to keep pushing myself. I can’t wait to celebrate with you in May!’ The dates of the tour have been announced. In May, the tour will start on the 13^th in Charlotte, NC at the Bank Of America Stadium, then on the 15^th it will occur in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium, after that she is scheduled to perform on the 20th, 22nd, 26th, and, 29th at Montreal, QC – Bell Centre, Detroit, MI at Little Caesars Arena, Toronto, ON at Scotiabank Arena, Boston, MA at Fenway Park, and finally she will mark the end of May on 31st at Washington, DC at Nationals Park.

Shakira is scheduled to resume her tour on the 4th of June at Orlando, FL at Camping World Stadium, then she will visit Miami, Florida at Hard Rock Stadium, Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field, San Antonio, Texas at Alamodome and Houston, TX at Toyota Center on 6th, 11th, 13th  an 15th. After this, Shakira will be joining her fans in California while she performs in Inglewood, at SoFi Stadium on the 20th, in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium on the 22nd, and in San Francisco at Oracle Park on the 30th of June.  In between she will perform in Phoenix, Arizona at Footprint Centre on 22^nd June and in Las Vegas, Nevada at Allegiant Stadium on 28^th June.
