Canadian singer and songwriter, Shawn Mendes has come up with an all-new music video for his famous heart-warming single ‘When You’re Gone’. Rejuvenating the old flavors again, the fans are calling it a masterpiece.
The last track released by this singer was ‘It’ll Be Okay’ that released after the split took place between him and his long-time partner Camila Cabello. The pair official announced their split through social media in November of last year. There is no doubt, the fans were clearly shaken by the news.
In the latest music video of ‘When You’re Gone’, Shawn offered glimpses of his concerts and behind scenes, and recording sessions. Sometimes colorful and sometimes in grayscale, the music video is surely capable of making everyone fan emotionally nostalgic with an ample amount of warmth.
There were also shots from his first debut performance which made the fans hail him again for his mesmerizing vocal skills and personality.
With the premiere of the music video on Shawn’s official YouTube Channel, the fans are going crazy over the track again while showering love through the comments. Some of the fans consider that this track is dedicated to Camila, what Shawn wanted to say.
In a recent post on social media, the ‘Treat You Better’ singer has opened up about his feelings regarding the split with his partner Camila. He said, “When you’re breaking up with someone, you think it’s the right thing. You don’t release everything that comes after it. Like, who do I call when I’m in a panic attack?”
Shawn further said, “Who do I call when I’m on the edge? I think that’s the reality that kind of hit me. It’s like, oh I’m on my own now. Now I feel like, finally, I’m actually on my own and I hate that. That’s my reality.” It is truly sad for the fans to see their favorite artist like this but they showed love and support for him.
Previously, the singer has teased the track on Instagram before the release of the music video.
