Shawn Mendes wrapped up his tour by announcing the cancellation of the remaining shows. He promised his fans to continue making songs and come back stronger
Shawn Mendes previously announced a few of his shows due to giving priority to his mental health. The 23-year-old Singer has confirmed that the tour has completely been scrapped as his well-being is more important than his shows.
In a very heartfelt message to his fans, the artist wrote, “As you guys know, I had to postpone the past few weeks of shows since I wasn’t totally prepared for the toll of being back on the road would take on me.”
He further added in that message, “I started this tour excited to finally get back to playing live after a long break due to the pandemic, but the reality is I was not at all ready for how difficult touring would be after this time away.”

Sharing his feeling about canceling the rest of the shows on his tour, he said, “After speaking more with my team and working with an incredible group of health professionals, it has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger.”
Fans have got disappointed by the announcement of their favorite singer. They have reacted emotionally on the social media platform, and pray that Mendes overcome the situation soon and come back stronger than ever and continue his shows.

The senorita famed singer also added to the message, “I, unfortunately, have to cancel the rest of the tour dates in North America, and the UK/Europe.”
He said, “We were hopeful that I might be able to pick up with the rest of the dates after some much-needed time off, but at this time I have to put my health as my first priority.”
But, he assured his fans that he would continue making songs and entertain his fans by giving his best. “This doesn’t mean I won’t be making new music, and I can’t wait to see you on tour in the future.”
He also said that he was heartbroken for those who had bought the tickets to his shows-“…but I promise I will be back as soon as I’ve taken the right time to heal. I love you all and thank you all so much for supporting me and sticking by me on this journey.”
