Renowned Bollywood singer, Shekhar Ravjiani shared his traumatic experience that he faced two years ago. Through an Instagram post, the artist has said how his life has changed after the left vocal cord peresis. He was later diagnosed by Dr. NupurNerurkar. While making the statement, he said ‘I was destroyed. Honestly, I was pessimistic… I thought I would never be able to sing again’. It was quite a traumatic experience for the artist and his family. He reached out to many professionals to cure this dangerous condition.
Shekhar said that he consulted with Dr. Erin Walsh over a Zoom call due to Covid-19 restrictions. The music artist stated ‘I remember tears rolling uncontrollably down my face as I could tell her that I wanted to sing again’. Going through time wasn’t easy for the artist. He even said that he was really pessimistic at that time. However, consulting with Dr. Walsh made him a little optimistic. He gave him the hope that he would get better and not give up this easily. It is Dr. Walsh’s effort over weeks that assisted him in normalizing his paralyzed vocal cord.
The 45-year-old singer and composer has been in the music industry for more than two decades. His life retrospect around music and living without it is not possible for him. And this had scared him even more during this time. For that reason, Dr. Walsh constantly tried to motivate him to work hard to improve his vocal cords. In the beginning, he didn’t like his voice anymore. But after the constant treatment, his voice was back. It was a huge confidence boost for the artist.

Now the artist is completely fine and getting back to his work stronger than ever. Now he is all ready to take over his audiences’ hearts all over again with his mesmerizing songs. He has shown his immense talent throughout the years and will continue to do so as he is back. While concluding his statement, he said ‘There is a way. There is a solution. Just be positive and believe. Always keep hope in your hearts’. The music artist has also shown his gratitude to the doctors who have helped him to get better.
