The accompanying video is sure to give the audience a chill through their spine. Directed by THE REST, it starts with the artists mimicking a 90s Budweiser Ad while they were over a phone call, talking to each other. Both of them were seen greeting each other wagwan instead of wassup, something that was heard in the original song. Soon the background changes and the rapper gets agitated to end up killing a person in the scene. The whole visual experience combined with the piercing verses unveils the offensive behavior. It surely is going to bring a frown upon the listener.
Rappers Slowthai and Skepta perform with an unmistakable tone and at one point shows Skepta doing a critical dance performance that increases the horrific quotient of the song. ‘CANCELLED’ pays homage to films like American Psycho, Candyman ad The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Nightmare on Elm Street.
