Sonu Nigam’s Birth Celebration Video Goes Viral

On the 30th of July, Sonu Nigam celebrated his 51st birthday with many of his colleagues. The video with all of them together went viral after it was released on Tuesday. Sonu Nigam has always been one of the most celebrated music artists of this age. Starting his career in the 90s’ he has been bestowed with many prestigious awards for his works. He has also been awarded Padma Shri which is the fourth-highest civilian award of India.

To celebrate his birthday there were many known faces from the Indian film-music fraternity came together. The video of this event was first shared by the prestigious singer Anup Jalota. In this brief video clip, Sonu Nigam is seen cutting the cake while he was joined by Javed Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, Anup Jalota, Anu Malik, Salim Merchant, Shaan, Talat Aziz, Shaan and Papon.

Donning a white t-shirt and white trousers, Anup Jalota and Talat Aziz were seen wearing the same for this event. Talat Aziz also shared the video and captioned it, “@sonunigamofficial had a special screening of a documentary ‘ Symphony of Fate’ on his birthday with his close friends and fans in Andheri. And then the birthday cake was cut and since it was @anupjalotaonline ‘s birthday too there were two cakes … 🎂🎂#happybirthday #cakecutting”.

He started his career in 1993 with the song ‘O Aasman Wale’ from the movie named Aaja Meri Jaan. And this was the beginning of some legendary releases across the last three decades in various Indian languages. His musical expertise has reached many languages including Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Tulu, Bhojpuri, Odia, Malayalam, Gujarati, Nepali, Chhattisgarhi, Meitei, and many other Indian languages.

His iconic releases in movies like 3 Idiots, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Main Hoon Na, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Om Shanti Om, Saathiya, Kal Ho Na Ho, Dil Chahta Hai, Krrish, and many other Indian movies have won millions of hearts. Recently he mesmerized his audience with his song ‘Achutham Keshavam’, a devotional song from Junaid Khan’s debut release Maharaj.

Apart from singer he also has worked in several movies as well. Movies like ‘Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani’, ‘Love in Nepal’, and ‘Kaash Aap Hamare Hote have Sonu Nigam as the main leads. These movies celebrate his relatively uncomfortable screen presence, while his voice never seems to feel even close to awkward. This Birthday bash also features a glimpse of his documentary, ‘Symphony of Fate’ on the big screen.
