Stephen Devassy Prepares to Unveil “EKTA- For Unity For Peace”

The talented Performing Artist and Music Composer from India who has been winning hearts with his exceptional musical creations, Stephen Devassy is all set to release his newest album “EKTA- For Unity For Peace”. The album has been scheduled for release in November and talking about the project he said, “It has been an extensive journey to prepare for this project, and it stands as my most ambitious undertaking to date. This album serves as a humble expression of everything I have experienced over the past few years, particularly in light of the challenges our world has faced. Being deeply connected to our youth and the people of our generation, I can empathize with their emotions. Through EKTA, I aspire to convey a message of hope and unity, urging everyone to become ambassadors of peace. I will work on the final mix of EKTA at the Abbey Road studio in London.”

Having gained immense renown for his musical versatility the artist has mastered a wide array of genres and his music presents a unique fusion of Indian and Western classical melodies, blues, rock, and jazz. His impressive performance and talent have led to collaborations with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including those like Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahab and Ustad Zakir Hussain and he has been a part of Four big concerts internationally with artists like Padmashri A Hariharan, Padmavibhushan Umayalpuram Sivaraman, Padmashri Shankar Mahadevan, Padmashri Dr. L Subhramanim, Shreya Ghosal, Padmashri A Shivamani and Oscar recipient A. R. Rahman.

Along with his feats with domestic artists, he has also collaborated with a number of international names including Rodney Holmes, Marco Minnemann, and Pete Lockett, and orchestras such as The Oslo Philharmonic, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and The London Philharmonic, showcasing his immense artistic and creative range. Along with his vocal skills, he has proven himself to be quite an adept Music Director and Composer, providing melodies and soundtracks to several films and shows, including “Bigg Boss Malayalam”.

His previous albums, namely “Project 70”, “Romanza” and “Sacred Chants” have already garnered immense popularity and acclaim among listeners. When he isn’t involved with his musical aspirations, the artist devotes his time to philanthropic activities, including providing underprivileged children with easy access to education and music.
