SZA takes a moment to sedate with the illuminating effects of mushroom in dreams on the ‘Good Days’ video

Magic mushrooms give you an intoxicating experience but for SZA, it’s heaven designed with wild mushrooms and cushy grassland. The hallucinating effects take her on a magical journey to somewhere too serene to exist in reality in the latest music video ‘Good Days‘. Her self-directed video was released on Friday, March 5 on her Youtube channel.

Looks like she took in the idea of getting lost in the rabbit hole from the famous Alice in Wonderland, instead, she chose to find herself alone in the wonderland formed by giant magic mushroom fields. The singer trapped her soul surrounded by the hypnotically painted huge mushrooms while producing a magical moment for the viewers on the screen. The visual effects captivate the attention of every person who looks closely at the set design. Her enchanting vocals create delirium in their mind provoking them to fantasize about the good days that might never swing by. She is suddenly found in a quiet library where she evokes graceful swings on a shiny golden pole. Like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, she takes her time out to read some books in that cozy setup.

‘Good Days’ belongs to SZA’s forthcoming EP. She teases her fans with a little sneak peek of her upcoming song “Shirt” at the tail-end of the warm fantasy-based music video. Her song has become a super hit trend on Tik Tok. This video was directed by Solana and produced by Terrence “Punch” Henderson, Roberto “retOne” Reyes, and Mark Schroeder.

She leaves a minute-long teaser for her upcoming music video “Shirt” where she gives out unbelievably exotic moves with her pole dancing skills. She wore a white cropped shirt and skimpy denim hotpants while rounding around the pole in front of a gas station.

Before she released the music video ‘Good Days’, she added a snippet at the end of her previous video ‘Hit Different’ featuring Ty Dolla $ign. Looks like she has made a new trend of announcing her exclusive music projects.

“Good Days” ruled at No. 1 on both Billboard’s R&B Streaming Songs and R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs charts in January. It has kept its position fixed at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. It has become the solo track of the R&B artist that has reached the top 10 of R&B music charts.
