Taylor Swift To Tease Surprise Acoustic Songs In Good Morning America!

Taylor Swift, otherwise known as the current music industry will be waking up fans this week in the best way possible. The pop star revealed on Monday, March 11, that she is doing a partnership with Good Morning America. The ‘Shake It Off’ singer also revealed that she plans to give her fans a sneak peek of acoustic songs that will be featured in the streaming version of ‘Eras Tour‘ movie. She said that she would reveal the names of the songs that are going to be featured in the Disney+ version of the concert movie one day at a time on the ABC talk show.

She personally shared this message with her fans through a clip posted on GMA’s socials. It seemed like the ‘Anti Hero‘ singer shot the clip just before stepping out onstage at one of her ongoing Eras Tour concerts. “Good Morning, America,” the global pop star said to the camera while she was dressed in a sparkly, bedazzled, and multicolored leotard that she typically wears during the opening of the Eras Tour, the three-hour-long show consisting of all the musical eras of Taylor Swift. The pop star also just wrapped up three shows in Singapore which marks the last leg of her Eras Tour before the official release of her next album. Swift’s 11th studio album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ will be released on April 19th and the ‘Blank Space’ singer resumes her tour on May 9th in Paris. “Tune in every day this week to get an exclusive look into the acoustic songs from the Eras Tour, my version,” Swift continued, smiling. “Don’t miss the film when it drops on Disney+ this Thursday [March 14] at 6 p.m. Pacific,” she concluded.

According to GMA, Swift will tease the first out of four acoustic surprise songs on Tuesday, March 12th. “It’s TAYLOR WEEK,” the show captioned the singer’s clip. “@taylorswift13 is giving a sneak peek at 4 acoustic songs that will be on the @disneyplus version of ‘Taylor Swift | The Era’s Tour (Taylor’s Version)’ throughout the week” it continued. The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer’s blockbuster tour film first appeared in AMC theaters in October. Upon release, it instantly became the top-grossing concert film in history, collecting more than $92.8 million in just a weekend. Then in December, the singer made an extended cut of the movie available to rent to celebrate her 34th birthday. This extended cut featured surprise performances of “Wildest Dreams,” “The Archer” and “Long Live.”

Now the streaming version will include even more surprising, previously unseen footage of the concert movie. Taylor is adding four new acoustic songs from the tour, one of which is said to be ‘Maroon’ according to the trailer along with the footage capturing Taylor singing her Folklore single “Cardigan” for the first time.
