Taylor Swift’s Pet Olivia Benson Is Topping the Charts For Wealthiest Pets

It is not just celebrities whose net worth can astonish you but their pets as well. Taylor Swift’s beloved cat has an estimated net worth of $97 million and is known as Olivia Benson. This fine feline has landed at number three on the list of the world’s wealthiest pets.

The list Forbes Style was compiled by the website known as AllAboutCats.com which works in the field. They collect data from Instagram in order to calculate their popularity and net worth. The data mainly determines “how much each of these pets could make per Instagram.” Another online tool has been used for this purpose, known as Influence Marketing Hub which helped to estimate each pet’s Instagram earnings per post along with the average number of likes.

However, it is not the most scientific way or a proper method to determine the worth as the owner can play the bigger part too. Olivia Benson does not even has an Instagram account yet it has gained popularity with Taylor Swift’s humongous career. According to AllAboutCats, Olivia is worth more than $97 million which is huge.

The website further explained, “The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers.”

It is quite obvious for the fans to question whether Swift’s other two cats Benjamin Button and Meredith Grey worth the same since they were not mentioned on the list. It is an assumption that perhaps people got lazy during the new year celebration and skipped their job.

Olivia Benson is not the only celebrity pet there were many on the list. Though she was the highest ranked on the field, there was the German shepherd Gunther VI whose net worth is $500 million and then there is Nala Cat at $100 million. Among the celebrity pets, there is Oprah Winfrey’s four dogs will inherit $30 million each when Oprah passes away.

Similarly, there is Karl Lagerfeld’s Birman cat named Choupette who will inherit around $13 million when Lagerfeld dies. Betty White’s adopted Golden Retriever named Pontiac will be inheriting $5 million after her death. It is quite evident that these pets are wealthier than most of us.
