Taylor Swift’s quarantine project Folklore: the long pond studio sessions | Disney+ is out and her cozy ‘exile’ performance with Bon Iver is striking

Just like many potential music artists, Taylor Swift also planned to release her long-awaited album Folkore in between her long world tours and award-winning performances at several award-shows happened this year. But the circus of the Coronavirus repelled her abruptly to bring her album out on the streaming sites. After a whole year of promotions for her last album, she decided to label her new album Folkore to be the quarantine project.

Finally Folklore: the long pond studio sessions | Disney+ is streaming and she performs her new hit ‘Exile’ featuring Bon Iver near a cozy fireplace inside a big wooden room with mic, grand piano, and glowing lights.

“This lockdown could have been a time where I absolutely lost my mind”, Swift says in The Long Pond Studio Sessions. It is a film that showcases the journey of making this quarantine more alive with her dulcet songs from the album. It explores the substantial significance of Folklore in her life. She uploads the stripped music video of ‘Exile’ that features Bon Iver in a separate room whereas Taylor looked pretty immersed in her confessional verses, enjoying the slight warmth of the golden campfire.

The pandemic took her on a tour that she would never give a try if it weren’t for the isolation during the quarantine. It helped her to write some of the best songs of her life as she prepared the whole album in the blink of an eye. She took help from the National’s Aaron Dessner to sketch her musical pieces and kept on exploring her skills of self-recording at her home.
