Monday is the 15th of August and last evening on Twitter Kiren Rijiju posted a 30 seconds clip of Udit Narayan singing the enchanting Veer-Zaara song ‘Aisa Des Hai Mera’.
Kiren Rijiju took over the internet last night after he posted a video of one of the most celebrated singers of India Udit Narayan, seamlessly singing ‘Aisa Des Hai Mera’. Holding a teacup in one hand he sang the song effortlessly, a song that has so many memories lingered with. And the entire nation was left overwhelmed by his unique musical gifts. As Rijiju virtuously captioned the post, “One Whole Generation grew up with his romantically melodious songs & uniquely magical voice. / Udit Narayan Ji made a courtesy call”.

The 2004 movie, Veer-Zaara is considered for having the most beautiful tracks of all time. And ‘Aisa Des Hai Mera’ is the second song of this beautiful movie. The compositions of these songs were selected from the last unreleased melodies of the late maestro of Indian music Madan Mohan. And the verses are given by one of the greatest lyricists and poets of India Javed Akhter. And their joined forces offered the 11 most heartfelt songs of all time. Though ‘Aisa Des Hai Mera’ is majorly sung by Udit sir but Gurdas Mann, Lata Mangeshkar, and Pritha Majumder have delivered some extremely gripping sections in this song.
