The popular museum located in the downtown of Nashville, George Jones Museum shutters down and closes its doors permanently due to the Covid-19 pandemic reasons.

 The museum opened in 2015 in the honor of the famous country singer the legend Late George Jones.

It was not only a museum but in addition, this place had a restaurant, an event space, and a rooftop bar with the sight of Cumberland River.

 This was a place filled with photographs, album covers, instruments, and iconic clothes of the performances. It is a place close to every fan of him. This place has provided live music and good food to many fans of him in the last years. But for the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s being impossible to make things work out.

The authority says that it is really difficult to run the museum with the shortage of workforce and after the 2020 Christmas Day bombing. And the crowd of this holiday season is nearly impossible to handle. They have said on their social media post that it’s been two difficult years for everyone and they are still trying to recover the damages they had in the past years but it’s the time they can’t push any limits anymore.

This was a place where every fan of him would come and enjoy the country live music and share the journey of Jones life and music with the exquisite food, drinks, and the backdrop of southern hospitality & warmth. It was a great place to come to the museum get interconnected to all his fans and relive the aura of his music. Here people not only connected over him but they got to know more about country music.

The authority has said that they have safely taken care of the museum and every content of the place. And now they are saying goodbye to everyone and shutting down the place with a heavy heart. They have shown their gratitude to everyone who has crossed the threshold of the museum and they are grateful to everyone.
