The American Music Awards has been aired live from the Microsoft theatre at the time of 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
The show has been hosted by Cardi B and this five-star show has been featured with performances from Coldplay with BTS, Tyler the Creator, Walker Haynes, Bad Bunny, and Carrie Underwood with Jason Aldean. Furthermore, the ceremony has been conducted with an ebullient performance by DJ Diplo.
Weeknd and Rodrigo led the award nominations with seven and six nods respectively. The artists such as Doja cat, Bad Bunny, and Giveon got five nominations by each. The winners of this show are decided by the votes of the fans. In this edition of the Award show, new categories have been included such as favorite duo or group, trending song, and favorite gospel artist.
