Music can make you cry and kill you with merriment; something that the Sydney EDM artist Klaus Bass is trying to this summer. After a big hiatus from music production and keeping himself busy with the endless world tours, exploring nature, and finding his next motivation, he is ready to rise the temperature even hotter with the upcoming album ‘My Polymerase Chain Reaction’. It is coming out in August and the fans are waiting with bated breath for the leading single called “Luminol” to be out on the same day his second album finally comes out. The fans won’t be disappointed if they want to get it the old-school version of cassette and vinyl.
Klaus Bass comes from Sydney but hasn’t left any corner of the world unfamiliar because of his bond with nature. In 2016, he released his first album called “Como, Como” that had 17 experimental and transcendental EDM tracks that he created with simple instruments like Hofner violin bass, Mexican telecaster, micro Korg, korg-volcabeats, and recorded in an old Tascam portastudio MkII to get that retro but a unique sound that enchanted the society. ‘Turnpike Blues’ was released in May on Soundcloud that stood out from the rest with a spark of something new, a genre called ‘city pop’ that he made popular. ‘My Polymerase Chain Reaction’ will be the second album from his recording studio. It has crafted songs with the variation of trip-hop and jazz in some tracks and some instrumentals simply flow in the psychedelic dub beats to cheer up for every moment.
