The song is a heart-rending lyrical ballad that suits perfectly with the melancholy ambiance of the movie. The movie deals with the devastating aftermath of Flint water crisis which is weaved around the lives of disgraced former Police Chief Daniel Hartwell of Flint, MI, his cheating wife, Poppy Hartwell, and his two adult daughters, Destiny and Chasity. The song expresses the moving moment of the loss of a loved one with its soulful and stirring lyrical illustration and melodic vocal performance.
