As promised by the artist, ROSALÍA, the Grammy-winning Spanish singer, has released her latest song ‘LA FAMA’ on her YouTube channel. The song features a cameo by Danny Trejo. The song creates a buzz within a few hours of its release. People are showing their immense love for the song.
The song has come out of her innate passion for songwriting. In this song, she has written a bachata with a little story around ambition. She took the reference of the lyrics of Rubén Blades or Patti Smith and the songs of Adventura she ended up writing a story of romantic fame. “I wanted to write, in my own way, a bachata with a little story around ambition”. The song ‘LA FAMA’ is the first single of the upcoming album, ‘Motomami’ of the artist in 2022. In the song, ROSALIA has done some experiments with Dominican bachata.
The director has set the stage with dim lights with a spotlight on ROSALÍA. The set is a nightclub where Danny Trejo serves as the MC. He is introducing the performer of the night ‘LA FAMA’ He says (Translated in English), “She is not for you all’, “She can pierce your heart”, and with a warning, he says that “She will definitely be your only obsession.” This proves to be true as La Fama has cut the chest of an audience played by The Weekend, who got obsessed with her and drawn to the stage by her beauty. So, what began as a flirtatious interaction turns out to be a slaughter in blinding lights.
