The Third Edition of the International Indie Music Festival Set for November 2024

From November 22 to 24, 2024, the laid-back city of Trivandrum, India, will once again welcome global music enthusiasts to experience IIMF Edition 3.

The IIMF is the result of a collaboration between Kerala Arts and Crafts Village (KACV), a Kerala Government Tourism Department initiative aimed at preserving and promoting the state’s rich cultural heritage, and Lazie Indie Magazine, a global platform uniting musicians worldwide. Set in the picturesque surroundings of Kovalam, the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village is known for its vibrant cultural space, where artisans showcase traditional craftsmanship, making it the perfect venue for this prestigious indie music festival. Including the upcoming edition, IIMF will have hosted leading musicians from 20 countries, alongside top Indian bands.

In its previous two editions, IIMF has brought together iconic artists such as Bluesman Will Johns (nephew of Eric Clapton and George Harrison), legendary rocker Dave Evans (founding vocalist of AC/DC), Grammy-balloted artist Lyia Meta, ISSA International Artist of the Year Anslom, and Sami Chohfi, frontman of Seattle’s Blue Helix. They performed alongside international bands like Viking Queen, Dharma, Rudra, Bani, and Melody Uganda, sharing the stage with top Indian bands like Agam, Indian Ocean and Girish and The Chronicles.

This year’s IIMF – Edition 3 promises an even more exhilarating lineup, headlined by the legendary metal band Martyr. The festival will also feature top Indian acts such as Yellow Diary, Parikrama, Dualist Inquiry, and Taba Chake, alongside international artists like Afrodelic from Lithuania, Cold Drop from Denmark, Deer MX from Mexico, and Lazy Fifty from New Zealand. Emerging talent such as Kulam, Wild Wild Women, DIY Disruption, Gabri, 43 Miles, Asal Kolaar, Prarthana, and Street Academics will also take the stage.

With Starvalue joining as a new event execution partner, this year’s IIMF is set to deliver a high-impact edition, ensuring that the global indie music community will once again celebrate some of the best music from around the world.

This year, the festival’s local presence has grown substantially with new partners. Skydays, The Leela Kovalam, Taj Green Cove Resort and Spa, Sagara Beach Resort, The Travancore Heritage, and Hotel Diamond Palace** are providing facilities and travel support for both international and Indian artists.
