The Weeknd Performed His Best With The Electronic Trio The Swedish Mafia House At Coachella 2022

The Weeknd performed a few verses of ‘Hurricane’ with the Swedish Mafia House at Coachella 2022. Here are a few highlights of his performance of the night.   

The Weeknd headlined with Swedish House Mafia on the final night of Coachella’s first weekend. Beginning with the Dawn FM songs, he gave some of his best performances in the show. One of the highlights of the show was his performing of a few verses of the song Hurricane that he collaborated with Kanye West. He also performed ‘Low Life’, ‘Crew Love’, and ‘Or Nah’ with Ty Dolla $ign and Drake.

The set ended with the Swedish Mafia, who returned to the stage to play the tracks ‘Paradise Again’ and ‘Month to a Flame’.

The Weeknd and Swedish Mafia House replaced Kanye West after the famous rapper decided to withdraw his name for some undisclosed reasons. The rapper had threatened to pull out if Billie Eilish did not apologize to Travis Scott.

Kanye West felt that Billie Eilish insulted Travis Scott when she stopped her show for a moment to help a fan out just after the Astroworld Tragedy. Eilish said later, “literally never said a thing about Travis.” And she “was just helping a fan.”

The Swedish Mafia’s Steve Angelo, in an interview with the Los Angeles Times, said the Weeknd was already planning to appear on the stage but created a headliner status after giving a larger budget and creative freedom to the trio.

The Swedish Mafia House was previously scheduled to perform on Friday night, following the performance of Harry Styles. The Weeknd stopped the production of his next HBO series to be a part of the performance with the electronic trio.

The Weeknd performed previously in Coachella in 2018. Before that, he also performed in 2012 and 2015. Every time, he performs, he creates headlines. People get excited when he takes on the stage. And, he also never disappoints his fans, gives his best shot.

 The Swedish Mafia last appeared at Coachella in 2012. The expectation was higher from the electronic trio. They performed as brilliant as they ever were.
