TWICE’s Nayeon Grooves In Street And Stops Traffic In ‘ABCD’ Music Video

TWICE’s Nayeon has just made her fans delighted as she finally released the music video for ‘ABCD’. At the same time, her sophomore album ‘NA’ is also out, doubling the happiness and excitement of her fans. This music came after two long years since her official solo debut in the industry. This new music video opens up with the singer walking in a busy street after a blasting car crash. What surprised the fans was that Nayeon might be the one to cause such a crash as drivers and onlookers seemingly could not take their eyes off her. Talk about a power move!!! The music video clip then jumps through different locations and time periods, where the K-pop idol was always found flanked by a group of ardent followers.

“A you’re gonna B my babe / Everytime you C me / Fall deeper deeper babe / Hey listen to me now / ABCD over and over again / I’ll teach you how to fall in love,” Nayeon sings on the R&B-infused pop song ‘ABCD’. Speaking of her new mini album ‘NA’ at a press conference yesterday, the TWICE singer said that she wanted to show her “cool, powerful, and bold” self with this new project. “As I’m not a full-time soloist, I wanted to make an album that leaves a strong impression whenever I get the chance,” she added. “If my previous album represented the most lovable and bright version of myself, this one is about being cool and strong.”

Besides ‘ABCD’, several other notable pop songs were also featured in Nayeon’s ‘NA‘ mini-album. The album includes ‘Magic’ in collaboration with KISS OF LIFE’s Julie and ‘HalliGalli’, ‘Heaven’ with Sam Kim, and produced by AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk. This mini-album is a much-awaited project from Nayeon, following up her debut mini-album ‘IM NAYEON’. Released in June 2022, the previous project was led by the viral hit single ‘POP!’ and featured several collaborations such as tracks with Felix of Stray Kids and rapper Wonstein.

The release of both ‘NA’, and ‘ABCD’, came after the singer created much hype and anticipation with teasers on social media. In the teaser video, the singer was seen performing dynamic hip-hop steps to the rhythm of the track, backed by several skilled dancers. Adding to her relaxed stylish looks, the singer was spotted wearing a casual blouse with black shorts. In the single ‘ABCD’, J.Y. Park served as one of the writers with Rick Bridges. The composers of the song are Pdogg and GHSTLOOP.
