Sound composing is an art that is a perfect combination of creativity and sound engineering which can only become a masterpiece if done right. Following the same strategy, the young talented composer, VDXi is making a name in the music industry with his several music releases. Now in an attempt to build a stronger reputation, the artist is releasing another track, heavily inspired by the Greek composer and worldwide famous music artist Vangelis. Increasing his reach and fan base with each release, the artist is now attempting to recreate Vangelis’ “Direct Method”. This is primarily because he will have the freedom to control various elements of the live music. The new release will be collaboration between the music composer and another talented musician Fivos Valachis.
Talking about his influences the artist has always been loudly vocal about the Greek composer Vangelis but more by his old works rather than his new composition. Old tracks like Conquest of Paradise, Chariots of Fire, Le petite fille de la mer, Symphony to the Powers B (from Heaven and Hell), and more recently the Blade Runner Theme. All these tracks and their composition along with the creative sound engineering, have had a massive influence on the young artist that turned his mere hobby of making music into something more serious, an expression of his emotions.
Other than Vangelis, artists like J.M. Jarre, Abba, Boney M, Enya, 80s Italo, etc. also inspired the artist to include versatility in his compositions. Despite having another job, the artist’s ability to fully concentrate on making music and expressing his creative self, VDXi, and his music will show you that all you need is to have pure telnet and hard work. Follow the artist’s work on Soundcloud.
