Vevo, the leading global music video provider has announced its music video rankings of 2020 solely based on viewership trends.
The lists of the ranking are categorized based on most watched videos worldwide and particularly in the US.
Future and Drake’s ‘Life is Good’ took all the credit and ranked 1st in the list with 530 million views from the US only. It has also occupied the first place in the worldwide most watched videos with a massive view count of 1.3 billion.
Continuing with the US most-watched video category, Lil Baby and 42 Dugg took the 2nd place for their track ‘We Paid’ with 157 million views.
Lil Baby took 3rd place also with his track ’Woah’ which garnered 107 million views. The list continued with Drake again with his track ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ featured by Lil Druk. It got 94 million views from the US.
Justin Bieber is able to take 5th place with 82 million views for his latest track ‘Yummy’. However, the track ranked 2nd worldwide with 549 million views.
Idina Menzel and Aurora took 6th place with the track ‘Into The Unknown’ which gained 80 million views. It was featured in the movie ‘Frozen 2’. It also ranked 10th worldwide.
Lil Baby and 42 Dugg hit the list again at the 7th position for their track ‘Grace’. It got 78 million views.
Doja cat got 72 million views for her track ‘Say So’ and ranked 8th. Following with Drake, he secures 9th place for the track ‘Toosie Slide’ with 66 million views.
Last but not the least, Moneybagg Yo’s ‘Me vs Me’ ranked 10th with 61 million views.
The results changed a bit when it comes to global ranking. As the first, second, and tenth place is fore mentioned, starting with Maluma’s ‘Hawai’ at the 3rd place with 509 million views.
Tainy and J Balvin took 4th place for the track ‘Agua’ which garnered 479 million views worldwide.
Camilo occupied the 5th and 6th place alone for the tracks ‘Favorito’ and ‘Vida De Rico’ with around 359 and 316 million views respectively.
Karol G claims 7th place for the track ‘Ay, Dios Mio’ with a view count of 307 million. The Weeknd secures 8th place with 305 million views for the track ‘Binding Lights’.
Camilo hits the list again at 9th for the track ‘Por Primera Vez’ with 287 million views.
Vevo did not only show the statistics of the music videos but the artists as well who have been explored by the listeners worldwide and specifically in the US.
The top 10 most-watched artists worldwide are J Balvin, Karol G, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Maluma, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Shakira, Maroon 5, and Future consecutively.
The list changed for the US as the top 10 artists are Lil Baby, Future, Chris Brown, Billie Eilish, Luke Combs, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Drake serially.
