Victoria Monét has recently released her new album ‘Jaguar II: Deluxe’ which creates a sensation among all. The Grammy winner artist has given a total of 11 songs in this album to her listeners. This album also includes the soundtrack ‘SOS (S*x On Sight)’ featuring Usher. The artist has released the album via Lovett Music/RCA Records. This artist has given excellent music creations with this album, which has led her to captivate an enormous number of listeners from all around the world.
Right after the release, it came to know that she had collaborated with various other music artists. She has worked with Thundercat and Bryson Tiller. In 2023, the artist said ‘I’ve always wanted to extend the interludes from Jaguar Part 1 and was so happy to hear Bryson liked this song enough to make it a little longer’.
Now the artist has come up with the complete album. Previously she released ‘SOS (S*x On Sight)’ on 27th August. Right after the release of the song, it became a massive hit and ranked at No. 1 on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart. With this particular song, audiences got to know the essence of the album. since then, it generated a buzz among all.
While talking about the song, the artist said ‘’SOS (Sex on Sight)’ is about desire. It’s about the urgency you feel when you need some love, physical touch and quality attention! Sometimes that desire can feel as urgent as being rescued from a natural disaster, or in this case, rescued from your own sensual urges’.
She even added by saying ‘Just like a storm, ‘SOS’ summons and forewarns a lover of the rainfall that is to come and welcomes the beautiful relief from that desire. It feels romantic, playful, sultry and direct. Based in fantasy and the warmest tones of R&B. It feels timeless and we hope you enjoy the escape!’
The album ‘Jaguar II’ was first released on 25th August, 2023. Within a short time, it got a huge recognition from all. With this album, she has gotten three Grammys. And in her speech, she said ‘This award was a 15-year pursuit. I moved to LA in 2009, and I like to liken myself to a plant that was planted. You can look at the music industry as soil. It can be looked at as dirty, or it can be looked at as a source of nutrients and water. My roots have been growing underneath the ground unseen for so long. I feel like today I am sprouting finally above ground’.
