Wet Leg, the British indie rock band, has announced its sophomore album, ‘Moisturizer’. The upcoming album will be released on July 11, the group announced via Domino. On April 1st, the group also revealed the entire tracklist and cover art for the upcoming LP. The saga of new and exciting news is not up yet, Wet Leg has also brought a brand new music video for the group’s lead single ‘Catch These Fists’.

Wet Leg, the British quintet, was founded by singer-guitarists Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers. The group now comprises the two founding members alongside drummer Henry Holmes, bassist Ellis Durand, and synth player and guitarist Joshua Mobaraki. The band performed their lead single from the upcoming LP, ‘Catch These Fists,’ in New York on Monday night at an intimate club. Wet Leg will also have another club performance on April 8th in Los Angeles. This new album is produced by Dan Carey, who also produced their debut in 2022.
The group directed the music video for ‘Catch These Fists’. The video was shot in their native Isle of Wight. The group drew inspiration for direction from filmmakers like Ti West and Cameron Crowe. The visuals for the video were also a nod to the band’s previous video, ‘Wet Dream’. Talking about the upcoming album ‘Moisturizer,’ Domino explains, “Punchier, prettier and more perverted where it counts, moisturizer is an album of manic love songs and well-timed kiss-offs, delivered by a clan of the UK’s most beloved oddballs.”
This is the second time the band is working with Dan Carey after their debut in 2022. The album-making process started in March 2024 when the band decamped to Southwold to live together. Besides staying with each other 24/7, the members watched horror movies all night and wrote music. This is why all five members of Wet Leg have writing credits on the upcoming LP. “We were just kind of having fun and exploring,” says Chambers. “We focused on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together,” says Teasdale.
Along with the album release date, cover art, and date announcement, the band also released the electrifying lead single ‘Catch These Fists’ and its music video. The track list of ‘Moisturizer’ follows –
