Bi Loaded, the prominent Dallas rapper known for songs like “6locc 6a6y” and “Gang Unit,” is said to have died at the age of 20.
“Sadly, the rumors are true and Mr. Robertson did pass away today,” Ashkan Mehryari, an attorney for the rapper whose actual name is Dashawn Maurice Robertson, told XXL Monday afternoon.
The reason for death remained unknown.
Robertson was convicted guilty of fatally shooting his mate, 18-year-old Khalil Walker, last year, and the announcement comes months after he was found guilty. According to The Dallas Morning News, police were summoned to Roberton’s residence in southwest Dallas on October 25. Walker, who had been shot in the body with a rifle bullet, had already been transferred to a nearby hospital and died from his severe gun injuries by the time they arrived.
Robertson was detained on one murder allegation before being charged in March on a lesser charge of manslaughter. Robertson and Walker were close friends, according to Mehryari, and the shooting was an accident.
“6locc 6a6y,” a song by Lil Loaded, became popular in 2019. The video for the song has received over 28 million views on YouTube. With over 39 million YouTube views, his follow-up track, “Gang Unit,” was an even larger sensation. “6locc 6a6y,” his debut project, was released in December of 2019. “CRIPTAPE,”, was released in December 2020 and it has been his most recent album.
