YoYo Honey Singh Calls Yash ‘big brother’ at Bengaluru Concert

Bollywood rapper and singer Honey Singh was in Bengaluru for his India tour over the weekend. Amid his magical and energetic performance, the highlight of the evening was when the Kannada star Yash joined the rapper on stage. The KGF actor surprised the audience when he joined the rapper on stage during an unexpected visit. The two shared a heartfelt moment on stage, sharing personal experiences and showcasing a warm friendship. Rocky Bhai, known for his charming character on KGF, extended a warm welcome to the singer-rapper Honey Singh. Onstage, together both Honey Singh and Yash reflected on their common journey of struggles – overcoming barriers and finally finding success and love from the Indian audience. As Yash shared his personal struggles, much similar to Honey Singh, the crow erupted in chanting “Rocky,” his iconic character. Later, the movie star said, “Ready, brother. You have to sing in Kannada also.” Honey Singh replied, “I am, “I am going to sing in Kannada, everybody — I promise.”

The rapper, popular among his fans as YoYo Honey Singh shared a video of Yash joining him on stage at Bengaluru and extending a warm welcome to him in Kannada. Then he gave Yash back the warm regards and he welcomed the movie star on stage. He said, “We have a common story. When we were sharing with each other, it felt like a true brotherly moment. I have found my moment in Karnataka. Brothers for life, everybody!” Yash also responded to this heartfelt welcome, saying, “So inspiring, his story is inspiring. We were discussing the way he has come up in his life and the place where he is today. Everybody goes through struggles and fame, but eventually, what matters is the love. People love and respect you. Keep flying, brother.”

The video quickly went viral on social media platforms where fans showcased their surprise, love, and support for both stars. On a post on Instagram, comments read, “Rocky Bhai X YoYo ”, “Y X Y ”, “Real OG OF OUR 90s ”, “When two emperors meet”, “Desi Kalakar X Rocky Bhai ”, etc. The other comments asked for a collaboration between two of the biggest stars of India. One user wrote, “CAN’T WAIT TO SEE YO YO X ROCKY IN MOVIE”, while the other one read, “DonoKaSath Mai Song AaJaye Please”.

After the heartfelt moment of welcoming each other, Honey Singh later asked the crowd to convince Yash to collaborate with him. The actor accepted, but he asked for one condition that the rapper would have to sing in Kannada. The singer-rapper also enthusiastically accepted the challenge and promised the audience to sing in Kannada soon. Singh shared the video on Instagram with a caption, “Thank u to my dear dear blood brother @thenameisyash for coming n blessing my Bangalore concert. Respect for life (sic).”

On February 22nd, YoYo Honey Singh began his Millionaire India Tour with a concert in Mumbai. He will conclude the tour in Kolkata on 5th April.
