For 2019 Video Music Awards, Miley Cyrus said a lot about her nomination snub. She is not at all happy as she is not nominated for a single nomination. However, fans should not expect her to attain the award show sitting with her Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus At MTV VMA stated on one social site that she won’t be present in the award show and she doesn’t have any plan for attending the annual event.
A 26-year-old revealed her feelings in an Instagram comment in Miley Cyrus’s fan page. She mentioned that she is not going to watch the VMAs this year until Miley performs. Within few seconds Cyrus answered back. However, her response doesn’t need any further explanation. She even felt like posting it in the comment section of another fan account.
Javier Cyrus stated that whoever has been selected in the nomination but they shouldn’t have used the image of Miley to promote their damn prizes. But the singer didn’t comment much but her message made everything clear. Cyrus in the comment section agreed with it.
Miley Cyrus has come up with two incredible music videos ‘Mother’s Daughter’ and ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ which were critically acclaimed as they were accompanied her hit songs of this year.
This year she didn’t receive any love from MTV and fans are worried about the reasons behind it. They think that gun control, abortion, and women’s rights might be the reason behind it.
However, Cyrus has hosted the event in 2015 that endured the wrath of Nick Minaj onstage for comments which Cyrus has made regarding the race. Thus, it was a tremendously heated moment. Cyrus performance in ‘Blurred Lines’ was one of the awkward performances of her in the history of VMAs.
This year the award show will be live shown on August 26th.
