Seasoned swing band from California Alpha Rhythm Kings incorporates the best elements from vintage swing and lounge in its recently released melodic collection.
Swing music was extremely popular in the 1930s. Eminent music band Alpha Rhythm Kings is bringing back the nostalgic allure of the vintage resonance with their extraordinary swing collection. I was deeply impressed by the tantalizing swing and lounge rhythmic cadence in their recent songs ‘Sharp Dressed Man’, ‘That’s Life’, and ‘Fools Are Getting Scarcer’. The deep and robust vocal performance by the frontman Robert Dehlinger in the songs intermingles with his dynamic trumpet creates an ambiance of total sonic bliss. The instrumental number ‘The Anaheim Hop’ is like a breath of fresh air in the contemporary monotonous music scene.
Working under Dehlinger Productions, Alpha Rhythm Kings has been making back-to-back outstanding swing creations for their fans. After touring around the world, they gave out an amazing performance at the 60th Grammy Awards Nominee, San Francisco Chapter Celebration. The captivating chord structures and progressive arrangements in the singles ‘Sharp Dressed Man’, ‘The Anaheim Hop’, ‘That’s Life’, and ‘Fools Are Getting Scarcer’ have cast a spell over me. The California-based swing band is leading the way for more similar musicians emerging into the scene. I loved how the nostalgic thematic elements merge with their contemporary resonance in perfect harmony. Follow them on Spotify, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook for more.
