It seems like Rosé is making the most successful solo career among all the BLACKPINK members with her 2024 tracks that are breaking all the records. While male-female collaboration projects are nothing new, Rosé and Bruno Mars are setting a benchmark with their brand new track ‘APT.’ that premiered on October 18. The official music video for this upbeat pop-funk track has already gained more than 70 million views on YouTube and it is currently surpassing the records that Taylor Swift and Post Malone earned this year with their hit song ‘Fortnight’. The fans love this male-female duet debut who have collaborated for the first time and made sure to create some musical magic.

Within 24 hours of the launch of the OMV, the music video instantly became the most-liked and fastest duet to hit 10 million views on YouTube this year. While ‘Fortnight’ received the Best Collab award at the Video Music Awards 2024, ‘APT.’ is winning the hearts of the listeners. The music video for the track is masterfully crafted and two of the artists could be seen performing at the top of their energy. It seemed more like a duo musical group where Bruno was taking care of the instruments and Rosé was singing with her fine person. Soon enough, Mars also joins the lyrics and adds more finesses with his 24k vocal magic. With a pink background and black studded jackets, there is punk-like energy yet the sweet melody of pop is also there. The fast-paced activities in time-lapse along with immersive moments of fun and wholesomeness make this video even closer to the hearts of the fans.

Not only on YouTube but ‘APT.’ is also topping the charts on iTunes as it has become the top track in more than 51 regions around the world including France, Australia, Philippines, and many others. On the U.S. iTunes charts, the song has landed on the no.8 spot; turning it into another milestone on Rosé’s prolific music career. She has become the first-ever Asian female solo artist to possess a place in the Top 10. It is safe to say that the song is setting the benchmark in the International music scene. ’APT.’ is also teasing Rosé’s upcoming album as it is a pre-single. The name of this track is taken from a traditional Korean game known as ‘apartment game’. Check out the OMV of APT. on YouTube.
