Iconic pop singer Chris Brown and talented rapper Young Thug collaborated in their latest track ‘City Girls’. The official music video provides retro gangster vibes.
Pop star Chris Brown has collaborated with multi-talented Young Thug in the latest track ‘City Girls’. The official music video has premiered last day. The track appears on the pair’s collaborative mixtape, titled ‘Slime & B’ which has already garnered a lot of attention from the followers with the audio tracks. The cinematic video of the song appears more of a short film with a Hollywood setting of the ‘40s. The video is directed by Brown’s frequent collaborator Jake Miosge. The story is narrated by Lillo Brancato Jr. who featured in the movie ‘A Bronx Tale’, the famous gangster flick. The video starts with the narration of the contemporary situation while Brown makes an entry to the retro-styled Cabaret Club. The sole purpose was the encounter with a thugger who joined soon after. Featured with Brown’s exclusive dance moves, sensuous cabaret dancing intercuts with a smooth transition and eventually falling into a climax where the mobsters are involved in a brutal gunfight.
The music video of ‘City Girls’ is a complete treat for the viewers. Last month, the artist showed a hint that he could have collaborated with drake to create more exclusive tracks which reveal that a Drake-Chris Brown album is coming soon. On the other hand, Young Thug had a quite productive year with the latest collaborations with many rappers like Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Scott.
